Fergie's Verdict
We looked sluggish in the early part of the game and deserved to be two goals down. Liverpool were first to the ball and they played a lot of good football.
But we didn't give in and perseverance is an important quality as well. The first goal by Mark Hughes over the goalkeeper involved fantastic measurement but I liked the second one better, with a marvellous run across the defender and a great finish.
I was just sorry we didn't score a little earlier and at the end of the day, I was happy to take a point."
